primes

lists of primes up to a given number

Syntax

y = primes(x)

Arguments

x

real scalar

y

vector

Description

Given a real x, primes(x) returns in a vector y all the prime numbers in [2, x]. If x<2 then primes(x) returns an empty matrix.

Examples

primes(35)
--> primes(35)
 ans  =
   2.   3.   5.   7.   11.   13.   17.   19.   23.   29.   31.
