- SCI — variable containing the value of the root path of Scilab.
- SCIHOME — contains the path to preferences, history files of your Scilab session.
- TMPDIR — temporary directory path.

- %eps — epsilon (floating-point relative accuracy)
- %f or %F — Boolean variable for false.
