sparse cholesky factorization

Syntax

[R,P] = spchol(X)

Arguments

X

symmetric positive definite real sparse matrix

P

permutation matrix

R

cholesky factor

Description

[R,P] = spchol(X) produces a lower triangular matrix R such that P*R*R'*P' = X.
