Hi!, @surveying101bil:
How are you ?.
See, for Theta and other's symbols ...
Too, with ...
With App Polar, you can Solve, any equation, in this system.
Example : #17h*Theta
Other, example ...
Other Example :
#17h*t*SIN(Theta)*n
For Store variables, you must be use ...
1) In Degrees.
2) In Radians.
En comparison, with Wolfram Alpha ... #17h is interpreted in decimal = 23
In Degrees :
In Radians :
Note: If you have QWERTY keyboard, in your PC, the Theta greek symbol in ASCII, you can obtein, with ... Alt+233.

Hello,
I'm sure it is in there, but I can explain it quicker then finding the location. Basically, that key gives you the "independent" variable for the current running app. In function it will be X, in parametric Y, polar theta, and so on.
You should instead use what I call the quickchar key shift 9. This has special math symbols including the theta over there on the second row, second from the right. If you don't find a charater you want, open the CHARS window on shiftVARS. You'll have 32K to select from! 🙂
Although I work for the HP calculator group as a head developer of the HP Prime, the views and opinions I post here are my own.
