imaginary part

Calling Sequence

[y]=imag(x)

Arguments

x

a real or complex vector or matrix.

y

a real vector or matrix.

Description

imag(x) is the imaginary part of x. (See %i to enter complex numbers).

Examples

imag([1 %i 2])
imag(1+0*%i)
imag(2+3*%i)
imag(1+%s)
imag(sprand(3,3,0.1))
