symbolic linear combination

Calling Sequence

[x] = cmb_lin(alfa, x, beta, y)

Arguments

alfa, beta, x, y

character strings.

Description

Evaluates symbolic linear combination alfa*x-beta*y. (low-level routine)

Examples

cmb_lin('alfa','x','beta','y')
cmb_lin('alfa','x','beta','-y')
